Welcome to the Tuscan School Library!

With over seventeen thousand titles, Tuscan School Library prides itself in presenting a warm and welcoming place for our students to come and discover the world of books and information.  Our students, faculty and staff are encouraged to help themselves to our many resources.  Each class meets once a week for a library lesson, share book ideas and borrow items from the library.
In addition to weekly visits, the Tuscan library promotes a positive disposition for learning, literacy and creativity through such programs as the Ultimate TV Turnoff, Battle of the Books, the Reading Train, and the ROAR Book in a Bag program.  We have been inviting our students to become discriminating TV viewers and active participants in other forms of creative and reflective recreation through our year-long TV Turnoff program.
Our third, fourth and fifth grades also participate in The Battle of the Books, a great literacy program promoting  reading comprehension, as well cooperative learning, with a competitive spirit and team work.
We have a wonderful group of about 60 library volunteers who help to make the library the heart of Tuscan School.  It is truly a place where faculty, staff and parents work together to make our students educational experience the best it can be.

Please visit the Tuscan Library Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) frequently!
