Senior health students in Ms. Cahill’s classes took a pledge on Valentine’s Day 2018 to #lovebetter. They took this pledge to "love better" in their relationships after participating in a discussion with staff from the One Love Foundation, which visited Columbia H.S to talk with senior health classes about the impact of social media on our relationships and how unhealthy relationship behaviors can be hidden in subtle, often normalized actions. The seniors all took an active role in the conversation, discussing what to do if a friend is experiencing an unhealthy relationship, recognizing the importance of healthy communication, and pledging to #LoveBetter not only on this Valentine’s Day, but everyday.
