On Tuesday, May 17th, faculty and staff from Tuscan School volunteered at the Community FoodBank of New Jersey located in Hillside, New Jersey. Every year, the Community FoodBank distributes 43 million pounds of food a year to more than 1,000 non-profit programs; through this effort, the Community FoodBank of NJ is able to feed over 900,000 people in 18 New Jersey counties. Faculty and staff from Tuscan School helped with sorting and packing food for redistribution. The Community FoodBank supplies food to emergency food pantries, soup kitchens, senior feeding programs, shelters, and after school programs.
