Dioramas Created in Ms. Popp’s Library Classes at Tuscan School

Dioramas on display in the Children’s Room of the Maplewood Library

The fourth and fifth grade students at Tuscan School wrote book reviews and then created presentations based on their book choices in their library classes.  Students had the option of presenting their book reviews in the form of Google slide shows, skits, oral presentations, posters, and dioramas.  Many students decided to create dioramas.  

These dioramas are being displayed in the Children’s Room of the Maplewood Library.  There is a sign near each diorama that displays the title and author of the book the diorama is based upon.

Students from grade five that created dioramas for this project are: Callum Dannheisser, Bridget Heindl, Nina Krauss, Max McCrory, Frankie Rodriguez, Brooke Sockwell, and Sophia Tierney. Grade four students that created dioramas are: Will Beane-Rosenberg, Marin Bohlman, Alice Carr, Conor Cavanaugh, Joseff Edouard, Sophia Estreicher, Maddie Goodrich, Charlie Hughes, Alyssa Lewars, Cian O’Connor, Lydia Ryan, and Carlos Sanchez.

 Ms. Popp wishes to thank Jane Folger, Head of Children’s Services and Emily Witkowski, Children’s Librarian, at the Maplewood Library, for this opportunity to display the work of Tuscan students.
