The Tuscan Elementary School community celebrated “El Cinco de Mayo” with a Spanish “fiesta.” Students and their families enjoyed dishes from South and Central America like “taquitos, arroz con pollo, y papa a la Huancaina.“ After dinner, everyone was treated to a show of folkloric dancers dressed in traditional costumes doing the “Marinera de Peru” and “Los Caporales de Bolivia.” Performers, students, and their families took turns on the dance floor for an evening of fun and celebration.
