Local author Christopher Healy visited a
receptive audience of third- to fifth-graders at Seth Boyden on March
8 to talk about reading, writing, and his popular children's adventure
book trilogy, The League of Princes. The
first book in Healy's series, The Hero's
Guide to Saving Your Kingdom (2012), is a Kirkus Reviews Best Young Adult
Book Winner and a New York Times Notable Winner, and all three books have
been very well-reviewed; Kirkus Reviews described the last
installment, The Hero's Guide to Being
an Outlaw (2015), as “part screwball comedy, part sly wit,
and all fun.” Healy’s assembly was part of the Seth Boyden
Read-A-Thon, a school-wide event that will run through April 5.
