School-wide Recycling Initiative at South Mountain and the Annex
The student council at South Mountain with the help of the local green team kicked off a school wide recycling program. The program kicked off with a school wide assembly followed by new recycling bins for every classroom at South Mountain and the Annex. Parents from the green team partnered with the garbage disposal company to ensure that plastic and paper will continue to be recycled. Students are excited to work together to reduce, reuse, and recycle as a way to help reduce trash heading to landfills and support our planet.
