Jefferson Elementary 4th Graders Celebrate Black History Month

Jefferson Celebrates Black History Month

Mrs. Newman and Mr. Rivera's 4th grade students celebrated Black History Month by creating a Biography Box display of noteworthy African Americans.  They turned cereal boxes into creative displays that captured the life accomplishments of distinguished figures in history like Katherine Johnson (Hidden Figures), Benjamin Banneker, and Alicia Keys to name a few.  Stop by the Jefferson library to take a peek at the wonderful display.
