Medicine Pick Up
Does your child have medication at Marshall School? Due to the COVID-19 school closure, the District has arranged for Marshall families to pick up medication at the Board of Education on Monday, June 8th from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Nurse Johnson and a colleague will be there, both gloved and masked, to handle the return of medication. All parents/guardians are asked to wear gloves and masks during pick up. It is also suggested that you bring a piece of paper with your child's name written on it in large letters, as it is sometimes difficult to understand what people are saying while wearing face coverings. You will not enter the building. Instead, you will show the sign at the front door and then nurses will coordinate getting the medicine to you in an individual, labeled bag. Nurses will ensure social distancing while returning medication to you.
2nd Grade Virtual Clap-Out
Each year at the end of June, we recognize our 2nd graders with a "Clap-Out". It is a way to celebrate students as they leave Marshall School and prepare to enter 3rd grade, most often at Jefferson. This year, we will hold our clap-out virtually on June 22nd. Please watch for more information.
Principal's Book of the Month / Character Trait: Neatness
The character trait for the month of May was NEATNESS: taking pride in my work and my personal space. Principal Horn introduced the trait, accompanied by a read aloud of The Berenstain Bears and the Messy Room by Stan and Jan Berenstain. The video was posted in the Google Classroom for all students to view. If your child did not have an opportunity to view it, would like to view it again, or would like to view it with siblings, see the YouTube link below.
For your information, the June character trait is DETERMINATION.
