    Name: Ms. Pianka
    Grade Level: 9-12
    Conference Period: 3:01-3:28 p.m. in Rm. A143
I am a graduate of Savannah College of Art and Design and received my teaching certification in Secondary English from Kean University in Union, NJ. I have been working with the South Orange/Maplewood community since 2008 as an English teacher in the Language Arts Department at Columbia High School. I have taught English I, Contemporary Literature, and Supplemental 12 in addition to working with students in the CHILA Program (formerly the Montrose Alternative Program).
When I'm not teaching, writing, or reading, I can be found researching Meso-American Cultures, rummaging through my immense comic book collection, hiking and Geocaching in South Mountain, or working in my garden.
