    Larry McKim teaches Advanced Placemen Studio Art, Art 1 and Drawing. He has taught at CHS for 26 years and before that taught as an adjunct professor at Mason Gross School of the Arts for five years. He is also currently teaching a variety of art classes at the Baird Center in South Orange including Silkscreen Printmaking, Painting and Portfolio Development.

    Larry McKim lives and has a studio in Frenchtown, New Jersey. He has a BFA in Painting from the University of Washington in Seattle and an MFA in Mixed Media from MGSA, Rutgers University. He has shown nationally in over 30 group exhibitions and has had over 10 solo exhibitions. He has taught at Rutgers University, Jersey City University, the College of New Jersey, Raritan Valley Community College and the Governor’s School for the Arts.

    Mr. McKim has received two artist fellowships from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts and several from the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation.  He has developed artwork in painting, several printmaking techniques and drawing media. His website www.larrymckim.com represents a survey of his work over the past several years.
