Columbia High School’s production of Beauty & the Beast has been nominated for 10 Paper Mill Playhouse Rising Stars Awards.
Approximately 900 students from more than 60 schools and school districts throughout New Jersey came together to recite authentic poems they had memorized in Chinese, ESL, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Latin, and Spanish.

The artistic endeavors of students from Columbia High School and five additional local high schools, are currently featured in an innovative display in 1978 Maplewood Arts Center’s eighth annual Advanced Placement studio art exhibit, “Fresh 8.0."
Whether home or away, the Columbia High School Girls Varsity Swim Team continues to amaze and to win.
Both the Columbia High School Boys’ and Girls’ Fencing teams won their first meet of the season against West Essex which was held at the West Essex High School in December.
New Jersey and Federal Laws and Regulations require school districts “to provide, upon request by military recruiters, students’ names, addresses, and telephone numbers, unless a secondary school student or the parent of a student has requested that this information not be released without prior written parental consent.”

We will be working on schedule changes during the week of August 29th. Please utilize the connected form for all changes. Requests for changes should be made if:
1. a core content course is missing from a schedule
2. a duplicate course is present in the schedule (a course that the student has already taken and passed).
3. required elective coursework for graduation in the state of NJ is missing from a schedule.
4. the student has been assigned to an academic level other than was selected in spring 2016.
